HMGMA Announces Manufacturing Leadership Transition

ELLABELL, GA — Jason Jacobs, who has served as Chief Manufacturing Officer since January 2025, will retire from HMGMA this month.

Mike Putinta, current Head of Department for Stamp Shop, has been selected as the next Chief Manufacturing Officer and will transition into the role on August 24.

He joined HMGMA in March 2024, leading operations for stamping.

“Jason Jacobs has dedicated the latter part of his career to Hyundai and to starting operations at HMGMA.” said Tony Heo, CEO of HMGMA. “Mike Putinta brings valuable manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of our operations into this role. His experience with HMGMA’s operations and involvement with the plant’s startup and production growth position him to lead HMGMA into the next stage of growth.”

HMGMA thanks Jacobs for his service and contributions to the company and wishes him well in retirement.
