HMGMA Equipment Maintenance Apprenticeship Program
Launch your career in advanced manufacturing with a paid apprenticeship at Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America.
In partnership with Savannah Technical College, this 18-month program gives recent high school graduates the opportunity to earn while they learn – combining hands-on experience with classroom instruction to build in-demand technical skills.
What You’ll Earn:
Starting pay of $20.40/hour with pay increases every six months
Full-time benefits from day one (health, dental, vision)
Uniform and safety shoe allowance
An Industrial Maintenance diploma upon completion
How the Program Works:
3 days/week: Hands-on training at our Ellabell, Georgia manufacturing facility
2 days/week: Classroom instruction at Savannah Technical College
You’ll gain real-world experience maintaining and repairing advanced manufacturing equipment and robotics in a state-of-the-art production environment.

Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years old
Have graduated high school or earned a GED within the past two years
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Have reliable transportation
