HMGMA Internship Program

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America offers a summer internship program to rising college juniors and seniors.

Currently, the program is open to students at Georgia Southern University, Georgia Tech, Savannah State University, and the University of Georgia. Internships are 11-week programs that immerse students in real world, hands-on learning across an array of fields and specialties.

Interns are paid $21 per hour and work 40-hour weeks with occasional overtime possible. Each one is paired with a mentor and receives one-on-one coaching. They also get to participate in team building activities and volunteer opportunities.

  • Welding
  • Stamping
  • Production Control
  • Finance
  • Legal
  • Communications & Public Relations
  • Learning & Development
  • General Affairs
  • Vehicle Processing Center
  • Parts Development
  • Quality Control
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
