Tony became HMGMA’s President and Chief Executive Officer in September 2025 following the retirement of our first president and CEO, Oscar (Ohchung) Kwon.
Heo served as Executive Coordinator of Production at HMGMA’s sister plant, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, since 2021 and was on the site selection team that selected the Ellabell, GA megasite as the eventual home of HMGMA.
Heo majored in mechanical engineering at Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea, and joined Hyundai Motor Company in 1995.
